As described in Guy's account, below: a spiral galaxy. A white arc traces a path close to the outer edge. At the right end of the arc is a blue dot; a little down and to the left, along the arc, is a green dot; and a much greater distance away, at the end of the arc, is a red dot. At the red dot, a straight red line shoots off and goes somewhere up off the top left edge of the image.
[Original astrophotography (obviously modified by me) by Luis Felipe Alburquerque Briganti, found on the Pexels site. I’m pretty sure *cough* this spiral galaxy is not, y’know, the actual Milky Way. (I’m pretty sure there’s no photo ever taken of the entirety of that subject, other than simulations like this panorama of the nighttime sky from Earth’s point of view — both hemispheres — as posted at the European Southern Observatory site.)]
