ADMIN: Year-End Reminder

Just a heads-up: the closing portion of “Open and Shut,” which will post tomorrow night, December 20, will be the last “major” thing I post here in 2024. (I’ll probably add one or two installments of the #jesstorypix series.) The continuation of 23kpc — Chapters 24 and so on — will pick up after January 1.

More importantly (maybe): a reminder that after January 1, a portion of this Running After My Hat Substack will go behind a paywall. This includes all of 23kpc except Chapters 1 through 7.

The good (maybe?) news: every free subscriber as of January 1 will automatically be comped a free three-month “paid” subscription for the first quarter of 2025. Which is to say: if you like what you’ve seen here so far, but for some reason have just never gotten around to subscribing… maybe now is the time to make it happen?

(Hint: yes, it is!)
